Gutter cleaning that fits Wayzata life
Wayzata pairs a lively lakefront downtown with quiet residential streets of mature oaks and maples, from older homes near Lake Street to larger properties with views of Wayzata Bay.
Wind off Lake Minnetonka pushes leaves, twigs, and seeds onto roofs, cottonwood and maple seeds can clog gutters as early as June, and fall brings heavy leaf drop.
Many homes here are tall or have complex rooflines, which makes DIY cleaning a real fall risk.
Freeze-thaw winters make clogs worse: trapped water backs up under shingles, feeds ice dams, and sends runoff against the foundation.
Most Wayzata homeowners schedule cleanings twice a year, in late spring and late fall, and homes under dense tree cover often add a third.
Clear gutters and downspouts also keep debris out of storm drains that lead to Lake Minnetonka.

- No. We remove debris from inside the gutters and check and clear your downspouts by hand and with the right tools. We don’t flush gutters or downspouts with water.
